About
Perception, action and attention: I am currently working on a GIF (German-Israeli Foundation) project leaded by Prof. Avishai Henik (BGU) and Prof. Dr Peter Weiss (Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (IME)- Julich, Germany). The project looks at subcortical and cortical interactions in cognitive control and visuomotor integration. We use behavioural and neuroimaging techniques in both healthy and neurological populations.
Space, numbers and time: I am conducting a series of studies looking at the interaction between time and other magnitude dimensions such as physical size, numbers and space -- How does the interaction between magnitudes affects both perception and action processes? Recently, I became interested on how perception and action processes operate in the special case of number-form synaesthesia.
Attention and the processing of social relevant cues: Part of my research concentrates on the role of attention in processing social relevant cues and emotional information. I am currently looking at the effects of spatial attention; specifically, the involuntary nature of attention on the perception of emotion from biological motion.
